Established in 2008 this state of the art facility is located on the grounds of Holy Cross Cemetery. The Crematory is non-secular and performs cremations for families of all religious affiliations. The Crematory also offers a non-secular chapel for family use.

The Diocese of Metuchen Catholic Cemeteries opened its crematory on premises at Holy Cross Cemetery in 2009. Since then, we have continually evaluated our services, looking for ways to improve our service to people of all faiths.
Our crematory operators treat the deceased with the utmost respect and dignity, carefully collecting cremated remains and cleaning the space before the next cremation.
In the Spring of 2013, we installed “Clean Sweep” at our crematory. It is a state-of-the-art cremation sweeping tool that improves the collection and preservation process of precious remains. The Air Broom virtually eliminates the possibility of the comingling of cremated remains. This is a significant step forward in treating the remains of the deceased respectfully.
