I have worked for many years with adults, couples, older adolescents and families, who have come to me facing challenges in their lives. Divorce, school difficulties, anxiety and depression are common struggles we all can experience, and they can feel overwhelming or paralyzing when faced alone.

My experience spans couples, group and individual therapy, in which I have worked with dual diagnosis clients, divorce mediation and parent coaching.  I have also taught parenting classes and couples therapy on a graduate level.

I have trained in many different theoretical orientations including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), as well as short-term, solution-focused therapies.  My current approach also incorporates somatic techniques, such as mindfulness.

I draw upon all of these, along with my clinical experience, relevant inter-personal neurobiology, and affect regulation research, to help my clients create the change they seek in their lives.

When should you seek help?

When you feel as though you’re stuck, going in circles, or overwhelmed by emotions, anxieties and life circumstances.  Sooner is usually better than later!

Are you unsatisfied with where you are in life, either with your own direction or your relationships with those closest to you?

“Often, the most important relationships in our lives can also be the most challenging.  Let me help you cultivate your innate strengths to improve your relationships and create lasting change in your life.”
