Dr. Katie Liebenberg, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in treating children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Liebenberg earned her doctorate from George Washington University with a clinical focus in child and adolescent psychotherapy. Dr. Liebenberg treats children and adolescents struggling with a variety of behavioral issues including stress, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders and substance abuse. She has expertise in treating mood disorders and social adjustment issues. Dr. Liebenberg uses a variety of therapeutic strategies and techniques combining psychodynamic, cognitive and relational theories that are tailored to treat the strengths of the individual. Dr. Liebenberg’s expertise includes psychological testing and evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults in order to assess a wide range of cognitive, academic, and emotional difficulties.
